Only God is perfect
I nearly finished my Chevron quilt. Each white row another quilting design . And Then . It happened: I found a mistake in the patchwork. I had turned one block the wrong direction. Nothing to fix. It has to be so!!!!

New quilt on the machine
There is a new quilt on th machine. A Chevron quilt with a lot of background. Each row will get a different design!
Wholecloth
Over the weekend I prepared a pattern for a wholecloth. I have designed guidelines for freehand quilting. The design will be tranferred to the fabric. Then I can quilt into the guidelines later. In August I go to a quiltshow in Hamilton, New Zealand, and will then show how to do freemotion quilting on a longam machine.
This is the first try on a piece of fabric. I am not shure whether I’ll do it in these colors or whether I’ll do it in different blue colors. The background design will then be done in white so that there is texture but no color.
