Classes

We have just finished the building of the new studio. I offer now 3 working spaces with a big cutting table, sewingmachines, 2 Longarm Quilting Machines and 1 sit-on-Longarm Machine. I offer a small amount of fabrics and quilting thread.

I like to give you the best classes you can get. So You can call me and we find a special appointment for you. For individial help I have max. 3 students. In the new studio I offer different possibilities:

– You can come to the studio and work with my help on your own projects. Per hour you pay NZD$20 (minimum 2 hours)

– You can use the APQS Longarm Quilting Machines for NZD$25 per hour (minimum 2 hours) As a new customer you need an introduction class. For that you pay NZD $ 100. That includes a voucher for 2 free hours after the class.

– You can choose from different classes I offer. The price is here also NZD$ 20 per hour (minimum 2 hours).

For a class send me a mail through the guestbook or call me. But you are also invited to come and visit the studio by appointement.

 Town at the sea

For this quilt you cut the houses and the sky freehand – no templates. After assembling the town you learn to make your own checkerboard and add then the „water“. You can make this quilt as a wallhanging or a bedquilt. It is your decision to quilt the quilt alone or I finish the quilt for an affordable price.

This quilt is possible for beginner or advanced quilters. To read more about this quilt, click here.

I would very much like to come and have a class on using the longarm quilting machine and then time to work on my bargello quilt. I am suggesting the 29th and 30th of November as I will be coming down from Auckland about that time. Is this possible? Thank you Mary Manton
